The purpose of the present research is investigating the relationship between listening comprehension skills and socio-economic levels among secondary school students. The present research adopted descriptive survey model. Because there are more than variable within the context, relational survey model is required to investigate the relationships between these variables. In order to collect data related to the research, socio-economic level defining form and listening comprehension scale were used. According to the findings obtained in the present research, listening comprehension skills of female students are significantly higher than the male students, parents’ educational levels affect listening comprehension skill, and family income level and students’ listening comprehension skills are related. },author={Murat ATEŞ},year={2016},journal={International Journal of Language Academy}}
