After the etymology of the word was given, its meanings at the word level were examined. As a result of the surveys conducted in the Qur'an, it has been found that this word is used in fifteen different meanings in total, literally and figuratively. In this study, the idioms used with the word lakiye have also been identified and examined in terms of semantics. As a result of the investigation, fourteen expressions in which the word lakiye has been used was detected.
