The type of knight in Erec, written in the 12th century, was not able to maintain this balance, so he needed to face a number of adventures. In the end, thanks to the virtues he has, he has overcome the difficulties he has encountered and proved his reputation, thereby ensured the continuity of his title. Thus, as an ideal knight useful to the people, he gained the pleasure of court and god. The Book of Dede Korkut, which consists of twelve stories, is a verbal tradition product that provides information on various topics ranging from the lifestyles of the Oghuz to their belief and is estimated to have been written in the second half of the 15th century. The alp character in the work has been thrown into heroism as a result of the injustices he has encountered. By passing through various tests Alp has acquired a reputable place in the society and gained his name, thanks to his virtues.
