Abstract

Despite being Turkish originated, this article aims to introduce a recent participant in the Turkish Literature Feridun Zaimoglu, his works and his understandings of art. The writer with his criticisms that ranges from social pressure to political associations and who, therefore, became the idol of people from almost every national origin, has become a confree with his increased human driven criticisms. Although being violently critisized beforehand for seeing migration as a social and a successful process, neither would he stay quiet towards those that swear the older generation, nor would he remain insensitive towards the silencing of the public through natural assimilation. He is receiving broad acceptance with his hybrid Kanak identity and marginal discourse within the art in today’s literature, politics and academic world.
