The existence of these structures until today is about protecting them. Today, Hamamönü, where historical Ankara houses are located, has been protected by restoration and reconstruction works. In this article, the general structure of Hamamönü and the concept of nostalgia were emphasized and the cafes were examined and the old objects found in the cafes were identified. The elements of nostalgia found in these cafes show us the connection between human and object when evaluated in terms of both function and aesthetic value. Historical Ankara houses and these old objects are cultural vehicles that carry the past to the present day. The aim of the study is to emphasize the importance of protecting our assets, which we accept as historical and cultural heritage, and to ensure the existence of cultural symbols. In this context, Tahtakale Kahvecisi and Yeşilçam Turquoise Garden cafes in Hamamönü were taken as a sample and the old items exhibited here were evaluated from a nostalgic point of view.},author={Mine AKDEMİR},year={2020},journal={International Journal of Language Academy}}
