LANDESKUNDLICHE ELEMENTE IN DEN LEHRWERKEN “MENSCHEN A1-A2”/MENSCHEN A1-A2 DERS KİTAPLARINDA ÜLKE BİLGİSİNİ YANSITAN ÖGELER

Abstract
Bu çalışmada “Menschen A1/A2” adlı ders kitaplarında hedef kültüre ait ülke bilgisinin aktarılıp aktarılmadığı, aktarılan öğelerin neler olduğu araştırılmıştır. İlk olarak ders kitaplarının yabancı dil öğretimindeki yerine değinilmiş ve konuların seçimine dikkat edilmesi gerektiği vurgulanmıştır. Bu bağlamda ülke bilgisi konusunun da ders kitaplarında yer alması gerektiğine dikkat çekilmiştir. Ülke bilgisi hakkında yapılan tanımlara değinildikten sonra ülke bilgisinin ders kitaplarındaki yeri ile ilgili yapılan çalışmalar hakkında kısaca bilgiler verilmiştir. Daha sonra Menschen A1/A2 adlı ders kitaplarının yapısı incelenmiş ve analizi yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmalar çerçevesinde ülke bilgisi konusu beş başlık altında incelenmiştir. Elde edilen verilerden, söz konusu kitaplarda ülke bilgisine ait öğelere sıkça yer verildiği saptanmıştır. Bu öğelerden, genel ülke bilgisine ait özelliklere, bir alana özgü ve Alman dilini konuşan ülkelere ait kültürel bilgilere daha az yer verildiği gözlemlenmişken, günlük yaşama dair kültürel özelliklere daha fazla yer verildiği ve edebi eserlere has bilgilere ise hiç rastlanmadığı saptanmıştır. Bu bilgilerden yola çıkarak Menschen A1/A2 ders kitaplarında, Alman dilinin öğretilmesinde kültürel öğelerin aktarılmasının da yeterli düzeyde olduğu söylenebilir. Günlük yaşama dair ülke bilgisinin dışındaki diğer dört başlık için daha fazla örneklemeler yapılırsa ve özellikle hakkında hiçbir bilgi olmayan edebi eserlere ait bilgiler eklenirse, bu kitaplar ülke bilgisi konusunda çok daha iyi olabilir. Böylece ülke bilgisi kapsamında eksiklikler giderilmiş olur.

Abstract
In this work, it’s been studied whether information related to the country of target culture was transferred or not and what the items transferred were in the coursebooks named “Menschen A1 und Menschen A2”. Initially, the place of coursebooks in foreign language teaching was mentioned and it was emphasized to be careful about selecting subjects. In this context, it was pointed out that country information subject should be included in the coursebooks. After mentioning “Country Information” definitions, brief information on the studies about the place of country information in the coursebooks were provided. Then, structure of the coursebooks named Menschen A1/A2 was examined and analyzed. As part of this study, country information subject was examined under five titles. It was determined from the data obtained that items about the country information were frequently included in the stated books. While it was observed that less was included about general country information features, information about particular domain and cultural information about German speaking countries, it was determined that cultural features about daily life were included more and no information about literal works was found. Based on this information, in teaching German language, it can be said that the transfer of cultural items was sufficient in the coursebooks Menschen A1/A2. If more exemplifications were made for the other four titles except from the country information related to daily life and some information about the literal works, which there is no information about, was added, these books would be much better about the country information. So, deficiencies in the content of country information would be resolved.
