Abstract


THE EVALUATION OF SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS’ POEM PERCEPTION IN TERMS OF EPIC, DRAMATIC POEM VARIETIES
Although poem seems that it is difficult to be understood by students and teachers try to keep away, it is a type that should be learned by students with the help of correct exercise and enough time. This work was carried out on the level of perceiving features of shape and female, male students’ finding topic according to topics of three different poem’s type. The sample of work consists of 12,13 and 14 ages students who were chosen. In this work, it was found out that students’ level changed according to gender and age on the topic of finding the theme of poem according to topics that they have learned and there was no difference of finding features that belongs to shape of poem. Stıdents have difficulty in finding theme. Moreover their perception changed according to emotions that were processed in poem. This condition underlines that students became successful in groups that students face often, moreover poem works improve students’ emotional condition and increase students’ perception level.
