The aim of this study is firstly identifying the errors made by students who learn French as a second foreign language and their causes and then proposing the solutions to minimize these problems. Our research was carried out with 30 students who studied in French Preparatory Classes of School of Foreign Languages at Marmara University. Qualitative research method was used in our research and a questionnaire consisting of three open-ended questions was applied to students to understand how the students evaluate the error concept.
