In the study, Moliere’s work titled “The Miser” and its three translated works have made by different translators was analyzed in terms of strategies used. Randomly selected sentences from the source text and the three different translations of these sentences will be evaluated in terms of the strategies used by translators by basing the reader oriented approach of Gideon Toury. At the end of the evaluation, it was concluded that first and third analyzed translation works are “acceptable” translation in terms of considering target language and culture, second translation work is “adequate” translation because of being close to the source language and source culture.},author={Perihan YALÇIN-& Şeyma ŞAHİN},year={2017},journal={International Journal of Language Academy}}
