Abstract

This study is about the development of reading skill and the difficulties faced by ESL students particularly in elementary classes. There are various models available but the researcher has prepared a new model that incorporates the advantages of technology along with other audio and visual aids as well as traditional face-to-face teaching. The model gives equal weightage to both the methods and maintains a balance, thus overcoming some limitations of online and offline teaching.
