At first sight, although this escape may seem like an ordinary event and concern little people, then it is understood that the situation is not at all. Zennur and Nuriye, who lived as harem and could not leave without family or relatives, caused a diplomatic crisis between the Ottoman Empire, Serbia and France because they were the daughters of a family close to the Sultan, which raises the importance of this story. On the other hand, the fact that young women know Pierre Loti, who has dedicated a part of his life to the emancipation of Muslim women, has become a source of inspiration for his novel “Disenchanted”. The purpose of this study is to analyze Europe through the eyes of Nuriye and Zennur who visited lots of European Countries, besides France, and met lots of famous artists, writers and politicians.
