There are a total of 102 idioms in the database of the study. Most of them (93 units) were determined by scanning of Güncel Türkçe Sözlük which is on-line use on the web page of Türk Dil Kurumu (date of access: 30.07.2018). Zaltman-Zaltman (2017) constitutes the theoretical basis of the study.
