Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı, uzaktan eğitim yoluyla yabancı dil olarak Rusça öğretiminde öğrencilerin dil becerilerinin desteklenmesi için öğretim elemanlarına bir teknoloji kullanım örneği göstermektir. Ayrıca çalışma, uzaktan eğitim yoluyla Rusça öğretiminde öğrencilerin bireysel öğrenme süreçlerine katkı sağlayabilecek teknolojilerin kullanımı konusunda öğretim elemanlarının bilgi ve farkındalık düzeylerinin artırılması açısından da önem taşımaktadır. Çalışmada, dünyanın en çok kullanılan yabancı dil öğrenme platformlarından biri olan ve Diller için Avrupa Ortak Başvuru Metni (CEFR) standartlarına uygun öğretim materyalleri sunan Duolingo platformu üzerinden öğretim elemanlarının, öğrencilerin Rusça öğrenme süreçlerine nasıl destek olabilecekleri araştırılmıştır. Duolingo ve Duolingo’nun okullar için geliştirdiği “Duolingo for Schools” platformları doküman analizi yöntemi ile incelenerek, uzaktan eğitim yoluyla Rusça öğretiminde öğretim elemanları tarafından nasıl kullanılabileceği ve öğrencilerin dil becerilerinin gelişimine sağlayabileceği katkılar çalışma kapsamında değerlendirilmiştir. Yapılan inceleme sonucunda Duolingo platformunun uzaktan eğitim yoluyla Rusça öğretiminde öğrencilerin kelime bilgisinin artırılması, kelimelerin telaffuzlarının pekiştirilmesi, okuma ve anlama becerilerinin geliştirilmesi için kullanılabileceği ve Duolingo for Schools platformu üzerinden öğretim elemanlarının öğrencilerin tüm gelişim sürecini takip edebileceği anlaşılmıştır. Ayrıca söz konusu platformların, uzaktan eğitimde kullanılacak teknolojileri değerlendirmek için uygulanan ACTIONS modeline uygun olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlar doğrultusunda, uzaktan eğitim yoluyla Rusça öğretiminde Duolingo’nun ve farklı teknolojilerin öğretim elemanları tarafından daha yaygın olarak kullanılabilmesine ve alanyazına yönelik öneriler getirilmeye çalışılmıştır.

Abstract
The aim of this study is to show the instructors an example of using technology in order to support the language skills of students in teaching Russian as a foreign language through distance education. In addition, the study is also important in terms of increasing the level of knowledge and awareness of the instructors about the use of technologies that can contribute to the individual learning processes of students in teaching Russian through distance education. In the study, it has been investigated how instructors can support students' Russian learning processes through the Duolingo platform, which is one of the most used foreign language learning platforms in the world and offers teaching materials in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) standards. Duolingo and the "Duolingo for Schools" platforms developed by Duolingo for schools were examined by document analysis method, and how they could be used by instructors in teaching Russian through distance education and their contribution to the development of students' language skills were evaluated within the scope of the study. It has been understood that the Duolingo platform can be used to increase students' vocabulary, reinforce the pronunciation of words, and improve their reading and comprehension skills in the teaching of Russian through distance education, and that the instructors can follow the entire development process of the students through the Duolingo for Schools platform. In addition, it has been determined that the platforms in question are suitable for the ACTIONS model applied to evaluate the technologies to be used in distance education. In line with the results obtained from the study, it has been tried to make suggestions for the literature and the use of Duolingo and different technologies more widely by the instructors in the teaching of Russian through distance education.
