YÜZBAŞI İHSAN’IN KAVÂ?İD-İ İMLA VE TAHRİR İSİMLİ ESERİ IŞIĞINDA 2. ABDÜLHAMİT DÖNEMİ TÜRKÇE ÖĞRETİMİ ANLAYIŞINA BİR BAKIŞ

Abstract
Osmanlı Türkçesinin öğretimiyle ilgili olarak Tanzimat döneminden itibaren pek çok ders kitabının yazıldığı bilinmektedir. Bahriye Nezareti Tercüme Kalemi’nde Müsevvid Kadıköylü Mehmet İhsan Efendi’nin yazmış olduğu “Kavâ?id-i İmla ve Tahrir” isimli kitap da, Osmanlı Türkçesinin imla ve yazmaya ilişkin kaideleri öğrencilere anlatmak amacıyla kaleme alınmış eserlerden bir tanesidir. Eserde örneklerin çokluğu ve yer yer vazifelerin bulunması, kitabın uygulamalı öğretimi esas aldığını göstermesi bakımından dikkat çekicidir. Bu kitapta Osmanlı Türkçesinde telaffuzu ve imlası farklı olan kelimeler Yüzbaşı İhsan tarafından tespit edilerek tek tek sıralanmış ve yazara göre doğru şekilleri yazılmıştır. Bununla birlikte imlası verilen kelimelerin etimolojisi hakkında bazı bilgiler de yazar tarafından verilmiştir. Ayrıca eserin “Tahrir” bölümünde yazı türleri ve bunlara ilişkin kurallar da örneklerle açıklanmaktadır. Yazarın eser içerisinde, imla kurallarıyla birlikte yazılı anlatım türlerine ve yer yer dil bilgisi açıklamalarına da yer vermiş olması, yazarın yazılı anlatım becerisine bir bütün olarak baktığının bir göstergesidir. Eser, dönemin Türkçesindeki imla ve yazı kurallarının neler olabileceği konusundaki tartışmaları tespit etmek ve dönem içerisinde dil bilgisi öğretiminin nasıl yapıldığı konusunda fikir yürütebilmek açısından oldukça önemlidir. Çalışmamızın temeli, bu eseri Latin harflere aktararak eserde geçen dil bilgisi terimlerini tespit etmek ve bu terimleri bir dizin ile açıklayarak, eserdeki dil bilgisi öğretimini ortaya koymaktan ibarettir. Ayrıca Yüzbaşı İhsan’ın hayatı ve üslubu hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. Araştırma, tarama yöntemi ile hazırlanmış, bu doğrultuda dönemin gramer çalışmaları da incelenmiştir.

Abstract
From the Bahriye Nezareti translation writing to the written book of Müsevvid Kadıköylü Mehmet İhsan titled “Kavâ?id-i İmla ve Tahrir”, spelling and writing rules of Turkish of the time were listed and explained with the examples. The multitude of examples and work tasks which are given at some parts indicates that the book is based on practical teaching which is remarkable. In this book the words which are different than others by pronunciation and spelling, are identified and individually listed by Yüzbaşı Hasan and written with the correct forms according to the author. At the same time some etymological information about the words which are examined in terms of spelling is also given by the author. In addition, in the “Tahrir” part of the book writing types and the rules of them are also explained with examples. In the book, author wrote in writing expression types with the spelling rules and at some points grammar explanations are also given by the author. This is and indication that the author looks at writing skills as a whole. The book is very important for us to have an opinion in terms of to determine what can be the discussions about spelling and writing rules of Turkish at that time and how was the grammar education in this period. Latinized translation of this book and detected terms of the language grammar are the basis of our study and consists of a directory along with a statement together with identifying the skills of grammar teaching. This study has tried to determine the role of the book named “Kavâ?id-i İmla ve Tahrir” and in the grammar books of that time, and grammar teaching methods of this book have been introduced. In addition, it gives information about the life and style of “Yüzbaşı İhsan”, and the author was introduced to the world of science. The study has been prepared by the scanning method and in this direction; the study of grammar of the period was also investigated.
