The use of serial films is one of these.In this respect, this study consists of proverbs and idioms in the first five episodes of the TV series called “Aslan Ailem”, which is one of the popular family series of our country and is thought to reflect Turkish culture and traditions well. In this study, it is aimed to teach 5 proverbs and 20 idioms suitable for the level of 24 students at B2 level, who are studying at Uşak University TÖMER. The aim of the research is to determine the effect of using film, which is a visual and audio material in teaching Turkish to foreigners, on teaching proverbs and idiom. In this research, action research method will be used.
