This research tackles the phonemic exchange between the two phonemes seen and sad in the root construction b, s, t according to the reconciled Quranic readings. It also shows that the sad phoneme has an impact in changing the meaning of the words. As the sad leads to a whole new meaning in the root construction B, S, Ta that the seen phoneme did not. As the connotation of the sad phoneme is stronger than the connotation of the seen phoneme. Accordingly the strength of the meaning comes from the strength of the sound. This research discusses the connotation of the sad sound in the word formation B, S, Ta in the two positions of the reconciled Quranic readings first in the present simple yabsoto and the second in the third formation noun bastah . The researcher disagrees what the linguist ……. That the seen was transformed into sad because it was followed by tah the seen is a low, weak articulated sound where as the taa is a high strong velarized sound. Consequently, the weak overlaps into the strong. It shows that overlapping the seen into sad
