KONYA HALKEVİ’NİN DÜZENLEDİĞİ EĞİTİM FAALİYETLERİ, YARIŞMALAR, MÜNAZARALAR VE PAZAR KONUŞMALARINA DAİR BİR ARAŞTIRMA

Abstract
19 Şubat 1932’de ilk kurulan halkevlerinden biri olarak Konya kültür hayatına katılan Konya Halkevi açıldığı tarihten itibaren diğer faaliyetlerinin yanı sıra eğitim faaliyetlerine de başlamıştır. Bu eğitim faaliyetleri, konferanslar, kurslar, yarışma ve münazaralar ile Pazar sohbetleri çerçevesinde şekillenmiştir. Konya Halkevinin düzenlediği yarışmalar, gençlerin ilgisini sanata çekmek ve yetenekli gençleri desteklemek amacını gütmüştür. Müzik, resim ve edebiyat alanında düzenlenen bu yarışmalar bazen tek tek bazen birlikte düzenlenmiştir. Münazaralar ise şehrin fikir hayatını geliştirmeye ve kültürel ortamına katkı sağlamaya yöneliktir. Münazaralarda çoğunlukla sosyal hayata, eğitime ve Cumhuriyet ilkelerine dair konular tercih edilmiştir. Halkevinin eğitim ve kültür faaliyetlerinden bir diğeri olan Pazar konuşmaları sadece gençleri değil bütün şehir halkını hedef almış ve çeşitli konularda yapılan konuşmalar halkın bilgi, görgü ve kültürünü arttırmayı hedeflemiştir. Bu konuşmalar daha çok kahvelerde yapılmış, böylece konferanslara katılmayan vatandaşların eğitimine de katkıda bulunulması amaçlanmıştır. Söz konusu konuşmalar büyük ölçüde; hukuk, sağlık, tarih, yurt sevgisi ve tarım konularını içerir. Söz konusu yarışma, münazara ve Pazar konuşmalarının içeriği ve tarihi büyük ölçüde basına yansımıştır. Konya basınında halkevinin duyurularına yer verilmiş, bunun yanında söz konusu faaliyetlerle ilgili haberler yayımlanmış ve kimi zaman bu faaliyetler makalelere konu olmuştur. Söz konusu çalışmada bu kültürel faaliyetler, nitel araştırma yöntemiyle ve basına yansıyan duyuru, haber ve yazılar çerçevesinde değerlendirilmiştir.

Abstract
On February 19,1932 Konya Communıty Center which was established as one of the first Community Center started educational activities beside its other activities as in Konya cultural life. These educational activities were organised as conferances, courses, competitions , debates and Sunday speeches. The competitions organized by Konya Community Center aimed to draw attention to young people and to support talented young people. The competitions which were organised in the field of music, art and literature were sometimes seperatedly sometimes together. Debates were aimed to improve the cultural life of town and to provide the contribution of cultural enviroment. Mostly in debates subjects prefered that were related with the principal of republic, education, social life. Sunday speeches, which was one of the other activities of community center aimed not only the young people but also whole people in town and the speeches which were done in varıous subjects purposed to the increase of the knowledge, manners, and culture of the people. These speeches were done at the tea houses by the way it was aimed the education of the people who didn’t take part in the conferance. The speeches mostly about legal, health, history, agriculture and love of country. The context of the competition, debate and Sunday speech took part in the press. The Community House announcements were took part in Konya press. Beside this, news about the course were published and sometimes these course activities were the subjects of the articles in the press. In this study the courses were examined by qualitative research method and the announcements, news, and the articles published in newspapers and magazines about the courses were taken as basis.
