Abstract

Trends of Studies on Reading Anxiety in Mother Tongue Education (Between 2010-2023) This study aims to examine the trends of the studies on reading anxiety between the years 2010-2023. In order to determine the studies to be included in the study, searches were done on the databases of the National Thesis Center, YÖK Academic, TR Index, Google Scholar, Asos İndeks, Sobiad Citation Index and DergiPark. The study object of the research consists of a total of 40 studies prepared for reading anxiety between the years 2010-2023. Thirty-two of these studies consist of articles, 7 are master's theses, and 1 is a doctoral thesis. The research was structured on the qualitative research method. The research data was collected through document analysis, and the content analysis method was used to analyse the data. As a result of the research, when the distribution of publications on reading anxiety is examined according to the types of publications, it has been determined that most of the publications are scientific articles, and most of the postgraduate studies are prepared in theses. As a result of examining the tendencies according to the subject distribution, it is among the results that the most subject selection was prepared to determine the reading anxiety for the Turkish language lesson.
