Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı, yabancı dil olarak Türkçe öğretiminde kullanılan Yeni İstanbul Uluslararası Öğrenciler için Türkçe Ders Kitaplarında yer alan “Kültürden Kültüre” bölümünün çeşitli açılardan incelenmesidir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda çalışma, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum çalışması biçiminde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın verileri doküman incelemesi yoluyla toplanmıştır. Araştırmada, 2023 yılında basılmış olan Yeni İstanbul Uluslararası Öğrenciler İçin Türkçe Ders Kitabı Seti kullanılmıştır. Sette yer alan A1 seviyesinden C1seviyesine kadar olan bütün kitapların (5 kitap) “Kültürden Kültüre” başlıklı bölümleri ele alınmıştır. Her bir seviyede altı bölüm olmak üzere toplamda otuz bölüm incelenmiştir. Toplanan verilerin analizinde ise nitel veri analiz yöntemlerin betimsel analiz kullanılmıştır. Setin tüm düzeylerindeki kitaplarda bu bölümün başlıkları, etkinlikleri ve soruları, konu alanları, metin uzunlukları, görselleri, metin içerikleri ve bahsi geçen uluslar/ülkeler açısından incelenmiştir. Ayrıca metinlerde Türk kültürü ya da Türkiye’ye ilişkin ifadeler de doğrudan aktarımlarla verilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda metinlerin içerik olarak birbirlerinden farklı alan ve uzunluklarda olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Metinlerde, günlük yaşama ilişkin kültürel unsurların daha çok verildiği anlaşılmıştır. Metinlerin hepsi görsellerle desteklenmiştir ancak metinlerin tamamında etkinlik bulunmamaktadır. Etkinliklerde daha çok açık uçlu soruların olduğu saptanmıştır. Metinlerde Türkiye’nin beş farklı şehrinin isminin geçtiği görülmüştür. Kültürel kıyaslamalar gereği metinlerde Türkiye dışında farklı ülkelere yer verildiği görülmüştür. En çok karşılaşılan ülkeler ABD, Çin ve Japonya’dır.

Abstract
This study aims to examine the "From Culture to Culture" section in the New Istanbul Turkish Textbooks for International Students, which is used in teaching Turkish as a foreign language, from various perspectives. For this purpose, the study was carried out in the form of a case study, one of the qualitative research methods. The data of the research were collected through document analysis. The New Istanbul Turkish Textbook Set for International Students, which was published in 2023, was used in the research. The sections titled "From Culture to Culture" of all the books (5 books) from A1 level to C1 level in the set are discussed. Thirty chapters in total, with six chapters at each level, were studied. In the analysis of the collected data, descriptive analysis of qualitative data analysis methods was used. The titles, activities, questions of this section in the books at all levels of the set were examined in terms of subject areas, text lengths, visuals, text contents, and the mentioned nations/countries. In addition, expressions related to Turkish culture or Turkey are given in the texts with direct quotations. As a result of the research, it has been determined that the texts have different areas and lengths from each other in terms of content. It has been understood that cultural elements related to daily life are given more in the texts. All of the texts are supported by images, but some of the activities are not available. It was determined that there were more open-ended questions in the activities. It has been seen that the names of five different cities in Turkey are mentioned in the texts. Due to cultural comparisons, it has been seen that different countries other than Türkiye are included in the texts. The most common countries are the USA, China, Japan.
