ORHAN DURU'NUN BİLİM KURGU ÖYKÜLERİNİN ÇOCUK EDEBİYATI ÖLÇÜTLERİ ÇERÇEVESİNDE İNCELENMESİ VE TÜRKÇE EĞİTİMİNE KATKILARI

Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı, bilim-kurgu sözcüğünün isim babası, gazeteci yazar Orhan Duru’nun bilim-kurgu öykülerinin çocuk edebiyatı çerçevesinde incelenmesi ve Türkçe eğitimine sunduğu katkıların ortaya konmasıdır. Çalışma kapsamında Orhan Duru’nun “Bat, Gerçeküstü Bir Film İçin Sinopsis, Kamuoyu Oluşturma, Harita, Öğrenciler, İkonoklast, Gün Dönencesi, Videomachies, Turist Gözlem Evi, Gözyaşı Taşı, Adolf, Domuz, Bahçeyi Suladım, Medya Canavarları, McDonald’s, Maykıl, Zapping, Karıncalar ve Beklenmedik” adlı bilim-kurgu türündeki öykülerinin biçim, içerik ve Türkçe eğitimine katkıları bakımından çözümlemesi yapılmış, okunabilirlik düzeyleri de incelemeye tabi tutulmuştur. Çalışma betimsel nitelikli olup tarama modellerinden doküman inceleme yöntemiyle desenlenmiştir. Elde edilen veriler sonucunda Orhan Duru’nun bilim-kurgu türündeki öykülerinin salt bilim-kurgudan oluşmadığı, bilim-kurguyu toplumsal kaygıyla bütünleştirerek mizah unsuruyla okuyucu karşısına çıkardığı, öykülerin bu bağlamda 12-15 yaş grubunun ilgi ve dikkatini çekecek nitelikte olduğu, söz varlığı yönüyle zengin içerik ve örneklere sahip olmasının yanı sıra Türkiye Yüzyılı Maarif Modeli Ortaokul Türkçe dersi öğretim programında belirlenen eğitsel ileti ve değerlerle karşılaştırıldığında pek çok değer ve erdeme yer vererek ilgili yaş grubunun değerler eğitimi ve kişisel gelişimine de katkı sağlayacağı açıktır. Ancak “Bat, Turist Gözlem Evi, İkonoklast ve Bahçeyi Suladım” adlı öyküler ilgili yaş grubu için olumsuz örnek oluşturabilecek bazı davranışlar içermektedir. Bahsi geçen öyküler dışında Orhan Duru’nun bilim-kurgu öyküleri, 12-15 yaş grubu için işlevseldir.

Abstract
Within the scope of the study, Orhan Duru's science-fiction stories titled ‘Bat, Synopsis for a Surreal Film, Creating Public Opinion, Map, Students, Iconoclast, Tropic of Day, Videomachies, Tourist Observation House, Tear Stone, Adolf, Pig, I Watered the Garden, Media Monsters, McDonald's, Maykıl, Zapping, Ants, and Unexpected’ were analyzed in terms of form, content, and contributions to Turkish education. The study is descriptive in nature and was designed by the document analysis method, one of the survey models. As a result of the data obtained, it was concluded that Orhan Duru's stories in the science-fiction genre do not consist solely of science-fiction, that he integrates science-fiction with social concern and presents it to the reader with the element of humor, and that the stories are of a quality to attract the interest and attention of the 12-15 age group in this context, In addition to having rich content and examples in terms of vocabulary, it is clear that it will contribute to the values education and personal development of the relevant age group by giving place to many values and virtues when compared with the educational messages and values determined in the educational messages and values determined in the Turkey Century Education Model Secondary School Turkish curriculum. The stories titled ‘Tourist Observation House, Iconoclast, and I Watered the Garden’ contain some behaviors that may set a negative example for the relevant age group. Apart from the mentioned stories, Orhan Duru's science fiction stories are functional for the 12–15 age group.
