Abstract
Ortaya çıktığı günden beri birçok değişikliğe uğrayan bilimkurgu; fantastik, korku gibi başka türlerle melezlenerek gelişimini sürdürmesi, sinema ve çizgi romanla sürekli etkileşim içinde olması ve beslendiği temel kaynak olan bilimin sürekli gelişmesi, değişmesi, dönüşmesi dolayısıyla üzerinde anlaşılmış bir tanımı olmayan bir türdür. Kökeni, milattan sonra 2. yüzyıla dayandırılıp Yunanlı yazar Lukianos’la birlikte başlatılsa da ortaya çıkışı ve asıl gelişimi Rönesans ve reform süreçlerini yaşamış, endüstri devrimini gerçekleştirmiş 19. yüzyıl Avrupa’sıdır. Bilimkurgunun Türk edebiyatına girişi ise 19. yüzyılın ikinci yarısında diğer roman türleri gibi çeviriler yoluyla olur. Ahmet Mithat Efendi’nin Fenni Bir Roman yahut Amerikan Doktorları (1888), ilk telif eser olarak Türk edebiyatında yer alsa da çok uzun bir süre bu türe yeterince ilgi gösterilmemiştir. Bilimkurgunun Türk edebiyatına girişi, Osmanlı döneminde olsa da asıl gelişimini 20. yüzyılın ikinci yarısında, Cumhuriyet döneminde göstermiştir.1970’li yıllara kadar yayımlanan çok az sayıdaki eserle varla yok arasında varlığını sürdüren bilimkurgu, 1970’li yıllardan sonra çıkan bilimkurgu dergilerinin de etkisiyle 1980’lerde daha görünür hale gelmiştir. 1980 sonrasında da Amerika ve Avrupa’daki romanların Türkçeye çevrilmesi ve sinemadaki bilimkurgu filmlerinin etkisiyle de giderek artan bir şekilde Türk edebiyatında yerini almaya başlamıştır. Bu çalışmada bilimkurgunun Türk edebiyatında ortaya çıkışı, gelişimi hakkında bilgi vermekle birlikte edebiyatımızda 1980-2000 yılları arasında yayımlanmış ve yetişkinler için yazılmış bilimkurgu romanlarını alt türler açısından değerlendirmek ve 1980-2000 yılları arasında bilimkurgunun Türk edebiyatındaki gelişim sürecini ortaya koyabilmek hedeflenmektedir.

Abstract
Science fiction has undergone many changes since its emergence, and there is no commonly accepted definition of it due to its development by hybridizing it with other genres such as fantasy and horror. Additionally, it constantly interacts with cinema and comics and is influenced by the continuous development, change and transformation of science, from which it is also nurtured. However, its origin is based in the 2nd century AD and started with the Greek writer Lukianos, its emergence and actual development date back to 19th century Europe. During this period, the genre experienced the Renaissance and reform and realized the industrial revolution. In the second half of the 19th century, science fiction was introduced to Turkish literature through translations similar to other genres. Although Ahmet Mithat Efendi's A Science Novel or American Doctors (1888) is the first copyrighted work in Turkish literature, it has yet to be given enough attention for a very long time. Despite its early recognition in Turkish literature through the Ottoman period, its actual development was in the second half of the 20th century, in the Republican period. Science fiction, which included a minimal number of works published until the 1970s, continued to exist in the 1980s with the influence of science fiction magazines published after the 1970s and has become more visible. After 1980, the novels in America and Europe were translated into Turkish and with the effect of science fiction films in the cinema, it ensured its position in Turkish literature. In addition to giving information about the emergence and development of science fiction in Turkish literature, this study aimed to evaluate the science fiction novels published between 1980-2000 and written for adults in terms of sub-genres and to reveal the development process of science fiction in Turkish literature between 1980-2000.
