Abstract
Bu çalışmada yaratıcı hikâye anlatma etkinliklerinin 8. sınıf öğrencilerinin yaratıcı düşünme becerilerine etkisi incelenmiştir. Araştırmada karma desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın nicel verileri ön-test son-test tek gruplu yarı deneysel desen kullanılarak, nitel verileri ise görüşme tekniği kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu, 2022-2023 Eğitim-Öğretim Döneminde Samsun’da öğrenim gören 20 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Çalışmada Marmara Yaratıcı Düşünme Eğilimleri Ölçeği (MYDEÖ) ve yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu veri toplama aracı olarak kullanılmıştır. Bu kapsamda öğrencilere 10 hafta boyunca 2 hikâye ve 10 etkinlik haftada 2 ders saati boyunca uygulanmıştır. Daha sonra öğrencilerin yaratıcı düşünme becerileri ve eğilimine yönelik görüşlerini elde etmek için yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırma verilerinin nitel ve nicel veri analiz yöntemleri bir arada kullanılmıştır. Nicel verilerin analizinde, katılımcılara ön-test ve son-test olarak uygulanan ölçeklerden elde edilen veriler ilişkili örneklem t Testi kullanılarak; nitel veriler ise içerik analizine tabi tutularak yorumlanmıştır. Bu kapsamda nitel bulgular, kod ve temalara ayrılmış ve frekans verilerek açıklanmıştır. Analizlerde SPSS 24 veri analiz programı kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öz disiplin, yenilik arama, cesaret, merak, şüphe etme, esneklik alt boyutları ve yaratıcı düşünme eğilimi toplam puanları bakımından anlamlı farklılık meydana geldiği belirlenmiştir. Yaratıcı düşünce eğilimlerine yönelik yapılan etkinliklerden sonra öğrencilerle yapılan son görüşmelerde verdikleri cevaplara bakarak katılımcıların problemlere çözüm önerileri, çözüme yönelik yapılan ön hazırlıklar, yeni fikirler ortaya koyabilme gibi olumlu tutum geliştirdikleri gözlenmiştir. Dolayısıyla öğrencilerle gerçekleştirilen hikâye etkinliklerinin öğrencilerde yaratıcı düşünme becerilerinin gelişimine yönelik eğilimi olumlu yönde etkilediği görülmüştür.

Abstract
This study examined the effects of creative storytelling activities on the creative thinking skills of 8th-grade students. A mixed design was used in the study. The study's quantitative data were obtained using a pre-test, post-test one-group quasi-experimental design, and the qualitative data were obtained using the interview technique. The study group of the research consists of 20 students studying in Samsun in the 2022-2023 academic year. In the study, the Marmara Creative Thinking Dispositions Scale (MCTS) and semi-structured interview form were used as data collection tools. In this context, 2 stories and 10 activities were applied to the students for 2 weekly class hours for 10 weeks. A semi-structured interview was then used to obtain students' views on creative thinking skills and dispositions. Qualitative and quantitative data analysis methods were used together. In quantitative data analysis, the data obtained from the scales applied to the participants as pre-test and post-test were analyzed using the paired sample t-test; content analysis analyzed qualitative data. Qualitative findings were categorized into codes and themes and explained with frequencies in this context. SPSS 24 data analysis program was used in the analysis. As a result of the research, it was determined that a significant difference occurred in terms of self-discipline, novelty seeking, courage, curiosity, suspicion, flexibility sub-dimensions, and total scores of creative thinking tendencies. The participants were observed to develop positive attitudes, such as suggestions for solutions to problems, preliminary preparations for solutions, and the ability to put forward new ideas based on their answers. The final interviews with the students after the activities were conducted for creative thinking dispositions. Therefore, it was seen that the story activities carried out with the students positively affected the tendency towards developing creative thinking skills in students.
