Abstract
Gülten Dayıoğlu, günümüz dünyasının üç farklı kuşağına hitap edebilmesi bakımından çağdaş Türk edebiyatının en çok okunan yazarlarından biridir. Yazar, yaşadığı topluma bigâne olmayan, ortaya koyduğu eserlerle topluma mesajlar iletme amacı da güden eserler ortaya koyması yönüyle dikkat çekmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Gülten Dayıoğlu tarafından yazılan ve ilk gençlik kategorisinde olduğu ifade edilen Yanardağın Yankısı adlı romanı, ilk gençlik yazını edebiyatının temel ölçütleri bağlamında incelemektir. İlk genç olma çağına ilişkin bir tür olarak değerlendirilen ve 13-18 yaş arasındaki bireylere yönelik olarak hazırlanan gençlik yazını, yalnızca bu seviyeye değil çocuklara ve yetişkinlere de hitap eden bir tür olarak dikkati çeker. Okuma kültürü edinme sürecinde ilk gençlik yazınına ait düzeyli eserler önemli bir işleve sahiptir. Nitel bir araştırma olan çalışmada veriler, doküman incelemesi yolu ile elde edilmiş ve çözümlenmiştir. Araştırma neticesinde eserin, Türkçe Dersi Öğretim Programı’nda (2019) ifade edilen dostluk, dürüstlük, yardımseverlik, sevgi, saygı, sorumluluk, öz denetim kök değerlerini ilettiği görülmüştür. Gençlik yazınına ait olan kitabın, genç okurda insan ve yaşam gerçekliğine ilişkin, düşünce ve düş gücüne bilinçli katkılar sunan bir anlayışla kaleme alındığını söylemek mümkündür. Çalışma neticesinde eserin, yetişkin olma sürecine adım atmaya hazırlanan ilk gençlik yaşlarındaki bireyleri, gezegenimiz üzerine düşünmeye yönlendirmesi ve bilinç kazandırması bakımından büyük önem arz ettiği görülmüştür.

Abstract
Gülten Dayıoğlu is one of the most widely read authors of contemporary Turkish literature in terms of addressing three different generations of today's world. The author draws attention in terms of creating works that are not ignorant of the society she lives in, and that aim to convey messages to that society with her works. This study aims to examine the novel Yanardağın Yankısı, written by Gülten Dayıoğlu and stated to be in the first youth category, in the context of the basic criteria of early youth literature. Youth literature, which is considered a genre related to the age of first youth and prepared for individuals between the ages of 13-18, draws attention as a genre that appeals not only to this level but also to children and adults. In the process of acquiring a reading culture, high-level works of early youth literature have an important function. In the study, which is qualitative research, the data were obtained and analysed through document analysis. As a result of the research, it was seen that the work conveyed the root values of friendship, honesty, helpfulness, love, respect, responsibility, and self-control expressed in the Turkish Language Curriculum (2019). It is possible to say that the book, which belongs to the youth literature, was written with an understanding that makes conscious contributions to the thinking and imagination of the young reader regarding the reality of humans and life. As a result of the study, it has been seen that the work is of great importance in terms of directing individuals in the early teenage years, who are preparing to step into the process of becoming an adult, to think about our planet and raise awareness.
