The aim of this study is to determine the level of emotional literacy skills of university students and to examine them in terms of various variables. Descriptive review method was used in the research. The sample of the study consists of 130 students studying at the Faculty of Education of a university in the western part of the country. Emotional literacy skill scale was used as data collection tool. Analysis of the data was done with SPSS package program. As a result of the research, it was determined that the teacher candidates who are studying in the first grade of the Faculty of Education have high and moderate emotional literacy skills and that they do not show any significant difference according to gender and departmental variables.
